Tired of afternoon sun heating your rooms? CarpetHub makes and fits motorized curtains across Abu Dhabi from AED 65 to 120 per square metre. Control them with a tap or your voice, and get 15% off plus a free measurement.
Abu Dhabi afternoons can turn a bright room into a hot, glaring one. At home or work, people keep adjusting curtains by hand. Tall villa windows and wide office glass are hard to reach. When nobody’s there, your home or office can look unattended.
Smart curtains take care of all this. They move on their own, following the schedule you set. Battery options suit rentals, with no electrical work needed. Villas and new fit-outs can have neat wired systems from the start. It’s a small upgrade you’ll notice every day.
Block out almost all sunlight and glare. Ideal for bedrooms, home cinemas and west-facing rooms in Abu Dhabi.
Linen adds natural texture and softly filters daylight. It suits living rooms and majlis spaces with a relaxed, elegant style.
Sheers let daylight in while keeping daytime privacy. Pair them with blackout on a dual track for day-and-night use.
Velvet brings rich color and a luxurious drape. Its heavy weave also helps with insulation and room acoustics.
The biggest benefit in Abu Dhabi is heat control. Curtains that close automatically before the strongest sun help keep rooms cooler. They also protect your furniture. Here are the six benefits that matter most day to day.
No two windows are quite the same, so we make every curtain to measure. Bay windows, corner glass, wide sliding doors and double-height spaces are all covered. Choose from 100+ fabric styles in different colors, textures and weights.
Add blackout or thermal lining where you need extra shade. Pick a pleat style, track finish and control option that suits your routine. Our team helps with every choice, so the result looks tailored, not off-the-shelf. You see and approve everything before we start making.
CarpetHub’s motorized curtains in Abu Dhabi give you several ways to control them. Choose one option, or combine them to suit your routine.
Remote Control
A handheld remote opens, closes or stops one curtain or a whole room.
Wall Switch
A neat wall-mounted switch works like a light switch, ideal for guests and family.
Smartphone App
Control every curtain from your phone, at home or anywhere with an internet connection.
Voice Control
Ask Alexa, Google Assistant or Siri to open or close your curtains hands-free.

Yes, for most Abu Dhabi homes they are worth it. They add the most value with large windows, high ceilings or strong afternoon sun. Scheduled closing helps keep rooms cooler and reduces UV fading on furniture. The cord-free design is also safer for children and pets. Start with the rooms you use most to get the best return.
The best system matches your windows, power access and smart-home setup. Wired motors suit new builds and heavy curtains. Battery motors suit apartments, rentals and retrofits because no electrical work is needed. Choose a system that works with the app or voice assistant you already use. CarpetHub recommends the right setup after a free site visit.
Professional installation is recommended for motorized curtains. The track must be fixed securely to the ceiling or wall. Wired motors also need a safe power connection. Installers measure, fit the track, mount the motor, hang the curtains and set limits. CarpetHub handles the full installation and app setup.
Motorized curtains give you effortless, cord-free control of light, heat and privacy. You can schedule them to close during the hottest hours. High windows become easy to open and close at one touch. They reduce UV fading on furniture and remove cord hazards for children. You can also control them remotely when you’re away.
Motorized curtains run on mains power, a rechargeable battery or a solar-assisted battery. Wired motors need a power point near the curtain track. Battery motors need occasional recharging but no electrical work. This makes battery motors popular in Abu Dhabi apartments and rentals. CarpetHub helps you choose the right option during your free site visit.
Battery-powered motorized curtains keep working during a power cut. Wired motors stop until the power comes back, then work normally. Many motors also let you pull the curtain by hand in an emergency. Your installer will show you how this works at handover.
Yes, existing curtains can often be moved onto a new motorized track. The fabric must be in good condition, with a heading that suits the track. Very heavy or damaged curtains may need replacing. CarpetHub checks your curtains during the free site visit. We’ll tell you honestly whether retrofitting makes sense.
No, quality motorized curtains are quiet. You’ll hear a soft hum for a few seconds while they move. Noise depends on motor quality, track type and how well the track is fitted. For bedrooms and home cinemas, we recommend quieter motor options. CarpetHub tests every system for smooth, quiet running at handover.
With quality parts and basic care, motorized curtains last many years in UAE conditions. Lifespan depends on motor quality, daily use, dust and fabric choice. Lined or UV-resistant fabrics help on sunny, south- or west-facing windows. Keeping the track dust-free also helps the motor run smoothly. Every CarpetHub system comes with a 3-year warranty.
